Space for contemporary circus

The Zirkusquartier is Zurich’s production, performance, training and learning center for contemporary circus and home to the Zirkus Chnopf.

The varied program of shows, workshops and courses invites you to experience and learn about circus in all its facets.
Zirkusquartier also offers numerous opportunities for professional circus artists.
Zirkusquartier is a meeting place for children, teenagers and adults, for professionals and amateurs, for visitors and artists – and not least for the local population. The Zirkusquartier offers space to learn, train, watch and meet.
The Zirkusquartier was founded in 2016 by the Zirkus Chnopfwhich rehearses its new creations here.

Head of Production, Mediation & Workshops (50 – 60 %)

From August 01, 2026 or by arrangement

You have training or solid experience in the fields of production and/or mediation/education and are eager to contribute your skills. You work independently and in a structured manner, are interested in helping shape a cultural venue in transition, and would like to play a long-term role in developing the areas of production and mediation/education — then we look forward to receiving your application!

Head of Finance and Human Resources (40 – 60 %)

From August 15, 2026 or by arrangement

Are you interested in contributing to our team and do you have professional training or solid experience in the business field? You work independently, enjoy developing new systems, and have an appreciation for the performing arts. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy in your role, be able to set your own schedule, and work from home. We look forward to receiving your application!
