Training, exchange and rehearsals
The Zirkusquartier offers various training opportunities for professional circus performers: Come along to one of the open training sessions, register for professional training or rent the infrastructure according to your needs.
Professional training
Attention: from 26.08. to 30.08. the professional training will only take place in the Hall of Mirrors and on Tuesday and Thursday exceptionally only until 14.00.
In the week from 02.09. to 06.09. the ZirQus festival takes place in the Zirkusquartier and the professional training is canceled.
Regular professional training times:
Monday and Friday 12:00 – 15:30
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 12:00 – 15:00

- Friday: Hall of Mirrors
Cost: CHF 5.00 per training session
or CHF 40.00 for 10 sessions (valid for 4 months)
Payment in cash or TWINT
Professional training also takes place during school vacations and official holidays – except during our company vacations, 21.12.2024 – 5.1.2025.
Register by email for a one-time introduction before your first training session.
Open training
Our open training takes place every Monday and Thursday: For amateurs and professionals aged 18 and over.
The focus is on exchanging ideas and enjoying training together. Whether you are a local artist or just passing through: come by!
- Monday: 18.30 – 22.00 hrs
- Thursday: 20.00 – 22.00 hrs
Open training is suspended during school vacations and official holidays.
Without registration / costs: CHF 5.00
Room rental
Rehearsing, trying out, performing
The Zirkusquartier would like to make its infrastructure available to as many circus professionals as possible.
There are four different indoor spaces and an outdoor space that can be used.
The bar is operated by Zirkusquartier during shows, festivals and events.
