Community

Knowledge, exchange, network

With its wide range of offers for professional circus artists, Zirkusquartier is also committed to strengthening the network and exchange between professionals and sharing knowledge.
The newsletter for professionals only and the Circ-Exchange and Production-Café formats are specially designed for this purpose.

Community offers in the Zirkusquartier

Productions-Café

Would you like to set up your own production? We will help you complete your dossier and provide answers to questions about production, scheduling, sponsors, etc. You can also find more detailed information about residencies, rehearsal and performance opportunities at Zirkusquartier.

The next Production Café is currently being planned.

The Production Café takes place in collaboration with artFAQ. ArtFAQ is the production platform for dance, theater and performance in the Zurich region and offers free advice for companies and artists. You can find the entire offer here.

Circ-Exchange

Circ-Exchange should be a space where local and (inter)national artists can exchange ideas. It should be a space to get to know each other, move together and share.
We also want to exchange ideas about the needs of professional circus artists. How can we strengthen the Swiss circus community? How can we support the exchange of artists?

The next Circ-Exchange will take place on March 27, 2025 at 7 pm.

Professional newsletter and professional chat

In our professional newsletter we inform you about important workshops, events, meetings and current circus activities throughout Switzerland (maximum once a month).

There is now a group chat via the messaging provider Signal for exchanges and short-term information in the professional community around Zirkusquartier.

Information and organizations

Here you will find a collection of associations, organizations and production offers where you can get further information and/or organize yourself. We try to make as much information as possible accessible here and thereby strengthen the network in the circus scene. Do you have an addition to this list? Then write to us here.
