Wir wollen nie nie nie

The production WIR WOLLEN NIE NIE NIE is the first part of a trilogy consisting of three stylistically and thematically linked, yet independent pieces. A fusion of aerial acrobatics, puppetry, physical theater and dance.

WIR WOLLEN NIE NIE NIE episodically tells the visually stunning myth of two inseparable bodies stranded in a cold world. The turbulent double act of their encounter creates a maelstrom of images, movements and emotions that touches, exhilarates and captivates. On the steps of a mysterious staircase that constantly opens up new spaces for them, the two protagonists live through a whiplash dream of raw brutality, deep trust and bizarre poetry, driven by the fear of cutting each other off. But a third party soon intrudes on the two’s ambivalent togetherness. A small eccentric in the grotesque world of the greats, whose mysterious intentions raise the question of who is actually manipulating whom.
Skillful puppetry, virtuoso artistry and dance draw us under the spell of these mysterious creatures. The abstract world they have created feels strangely real and familiar, warming and disturbing at the same time. It offers space for questions about individuality, community and authenticity. Behind the masks of these figures are the puppeteer Jarnoth and the aerialist Moritz Haase, who, under the direction of Philipp Boë, have devised this associative and sarcastically dark spectacle, which they bring to the stage with great dedication and skill.

Raum 305

Founded in 2018 by director Philipp Boë, puppeteer JARNOTH and trapeze artist Moritz Haase, the young company Raum 305 has set itself the goal of developing an interdisciplinary, innovative stage language. The fusion of aerial acrobatics, puppetry, physical theater and dance provides the basis for their pieces, which touch the audience with a high degree of authenticity and virtuosity.
