The Truth…? is an acrobatic circus piece about order, chance and the search for what we call truth.
Two figures – apparent opposites, but perhaps two sides of the same reality – meet on a half-finished stage. One plans, controls, tries to create structure; the other follows impulses, stumbles and mixes everything up. A wordless game of humor and acrobatic chaos unfolds between them: diabolos whirl through the air, a chair floats dangerously in the air, a guitar sounds through a drill. Out of conflict comes balance, out of disruption comes something new. A simple sheet of paper becomes the symbol of this process – lines become meaning, chance becomes form.
The Truth…? does not ask for a single truth, but invites us to understand it as something mobile: as a moment between control and letting go, plan and chance, structure and play. A poetic, physical experience about creation, failure and amazement.
The Truth…? is a co-production of Zirkusquartier Zurich.

NotreDuo (CH)
NotreDuo is a Swiss circus duo made up of Victor Goyette and Marius Cavin, who met at the Fontys Circus School in the Netherlands. Since 2022, they have been creating contemporary circus between theater, acrobatics and music. Their shows combine humor, lightness and poetry and playfully ask big questions without giving simple answers. In 2022, they were nominated for the prestigious Jacques de Leeuw Prize – an award that annually recognizes the most creative and promising young artists in the Netherlands. In the same year, they also won the Makershuis Tilburg Research Prize and received the Migros Sparx Scholarship for Young Artists in 2023.
