In Mais les homards du Titanic, eux, sont encore vivants! , three performers search for a crack in the spiral of history, which seems to repeat itself over and over again. They walk a tightrope, braving the world’s upheavals and searching for a new breath of life.
The show explores our relationship to chaos, collapse, and memory. Tense bodies, taut strings, and distorted sounds create an almost physical tension: that of a world falling apart. Yet amid this unsettling cycle, a possibility emerges: the possibility of reinventing ourselves, of imagining a different place.
Inspired by the Afrofuturist myth of Drexciya, the show transforms historical pain into theatrical material. It is not a statement, but a poetic rebellion. A utopia of resistance. A suspended moment in which art becomes an act of survival.

Cirqu’en Choc
Cirqu’en Choc is a contemporary circus company in Switzerland that was founded in 2009 through a collaboration between two Valais-based circus artists, Tania Simili and Estelle Samira Borel. The company’s productions combine circus, theater, music, and performance and take an interdisciplinary approach. Humor, the beauty of movement, and the social themes they address make it a poetic and socially engaged company—entirely in keeping with the vision of its artistic director, Estelle Samira Borel.
The company’s DNA is shaped by the desire to bring pressing social issues or deeply personal themes to the stage through movement, risk, acrobatic gestures, and poetry.
