This dynamic vertical rope workshop is aimed at advanced and professional aerial artists who want to expand their movement vocabulary, precision and creative expression on the rope. Over three hours, we will immerse ourselves in advanced beat mechanics, dynamic tricks, momentum-based movement paths and sequences.
After a targeted warm-up to activate the body, we refine the central dynamic basics of the beats. We work on suspension, timing and coordination in order to exploit the full potential of dynamic movement. We then explore drops, release and catch moments as well as flowing movement phrases, which are combined into elaborate sequences.
The focus is on clean technique, secure progressions, spatial awareness and the development of a personal stylistic flow within the dynamic vocabulary. Individual feedback helps to refine form, sharpen transitions and develop creativity. Ideal for aerial artists who want to expand their dynamic skills and develop confident, expressive movements on the vertical rope.

Workshop-leadership
Bryony Fowler
Bryony Fowler, a contemporary circus artist from the UK, studied at the NCCA and FLIC , co-founded the company Less Kuerdas and has worked with Cata Aguayo, Kitt Johnson, Peñailillos and Eva Ordoñez. Together with César Bonilla, she founded Cia Mesa para Dos in 2024.
César Bonilla
César Bonilla comes from Valladolid in Spain. He dropped out of medical school to devote himself to the circus in Buenos Aires and to specialize in the discipline of vertical rope at the FLIC in Turin. He has worked with Aaron Koz and Pablo Peñailillos, among others, and taught at CREAT . Together with Bryony Fowler, he founded Cia Mesa para Dos in 2024.

- Bei Rückzug der Anmeldung bis 10 Tage vor dem Workshop werden 50% verrechnet. Bei späterem Rückzug sind die vollen Kosten durch den:die Teilnehmer:in zu tragen.
- Das Recht zur Teilnahme am gebuchten Workshop ist persönlich und nicht übertragbar.
- Versicherung ist Sache der Teilnehmer:in. Ein Notfallkontakt ist bei der Anmeldung anzugeben.
- Bei ungenügender Anzahl Teilnehmenden kann der Workshop in der Regel nicht stattfinden. Die angemeldeten Teilnehmenden werden bis spätestens 2 Tage vor dem Workshop per Mail über eine allfällige Absage informiert.
- Die Teilnehmenden halten sich an die Hausregeln des Zirkusquartiers. Den Anweisungen des ZQ-Teams und der Kurs-Leiter:innen ist Folge zu leisten.
