Two-day Cirque Intense workshop
Under professional guidance, you will experience what training at a professional circus school feels like. With fun and method, a structured training concept is offered in the basics of circus arts and physical theater, combining traditional circus technique and modern contemporary circus art and creation.
The workshop is intended for anyone who is interested in and excited by artistry, who wants to experiment with their own body and challenge the limits to discover what is possible. Basic movement experience is a prerequisite. For beginners, a healthy and gradual approach is possible. For people with previous experience, the course also offers exciting approaches to learning important technical prerequisites for advanced tricks (somersaults, flic flac, hand to hand, juggling, balance).
The Cirque Intense Preparatory School offers two years of daily full-time training in the basics of circus artistry with the aim of preparing students for auditions at international circus colleges. The workshop offers two “normal” training days to get to know each other.
Cirque Intense
As a full-time circus school, Cirque Intense offers a professional orientation year for contemporary circus and a preparatory year for the entrance exams to circus universities. The production of a circus theater piece followed by a tour is part of the curriculum.
Cirque Intense is a recognized member of the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC) and offers a wide range of training in dance (Karolin Stächele), physical theatre (Ursula Hildebrand), music (Tilo Wachter), core and stretch (Nadiia Marchenko) and tent and event technology in addition to circus training (Robert Eisele, Isabelle Noel). Special workshops in cyr-wheel (David Eisele, Fenja Barteldres) or spinning board complete the intensive circus year.
General information
- Registration by link, e-mail or telephone is binding.
- The course fee must be paid by invoice, which you will receive from us by e-mail.
- If registration is withdrawn up to 10 days before the workshop, 50% of the course fee will be charged. In the event of later withdrawal, the full costs are to be borne by the participant.
- The right to participate in the booked workshop is personal and non-transferable. Lessons not attended do not entitle the participant to a reduction in course fees, unless the workshop is explicitly advertised as modular.
- Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. An emergency contact must be given when registering.
- If there are not enough participants, the workshop cannot usually take place. The registered participants will be informed by e-mail about a possible cancellation.
- Participants must adhere to the house rules of the Zirkusquartier. The instructions of the staff must be followed.
