Chinese Pole Workshop Beginner

Are you curious about the Chinese pole?

Not many artists practice this special circus discipline. In contrast to pole dancing, the Chinese pole is higher and has a rubber coating that makes various tricks and figures possible. With Anna Kapp, we have the opportunity to introduce you to this great art.

In this workshop you will learn the first basic techniques on the pole, starting from the ground and then going higher and higher. No previous experience is necessary, physical fitness is an advantage.

Bring along:

– Leggings (better than jogging pants)
– Old jeans: you should be able to move well in them
– Shoes: clean Converse, Vans, kung fu or boxing shoes
– Long-sleeved sweatshirt without zipper

Anna Kapp

Anna has a degree in circus and stage arts with a specialization in Chinese pole. In her own practice, she focuses on flowing movements, soft lines and static strength.

General information

• Registration by link, e-mail or telephone is binding.
• The course fee must be paid by invoice, which you will receive from us by e-mail.
• If registration is withdrawn up to 10 days before the workshop, 50% of the course fee will be charged. In the event of later withdrawal, the full costs are to be borne by the participant.
• The right to participate in the booked workshop is personal and non-transferable. Lessons not attended do not entitle the participant to a reduction in course fees, unless the workshop is explicitly advertised as modular.
• Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. An emergency contact must be given when registering.
• If there are not enough participants, the workshop cannot usually take place. The registered participants will be informed by e-mail about a possible cancellation.
• Participants must adhere to the house rules of the Zirkusquartier. The instructions of the staff must be followed.
