The Chinese pole is an impressive circus art discipline in which artists perform acrobatic figures and movements on a vertical, rubber-coated pole. In contrast to pole dancing, the Chinese pole is higher and its special coating enables a variety of tricks and poses.
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of this art form with an experienced artist. The course begins with exercises on the ground and progresses to higher and higher levels. Techniques such as climbing, holding positions and transitions are taught. Previous experience is not required, but physical fitness is an advantage.
