This workshop combines the two popular aerial disciplines of aerial hoop and trapeze and is suitable for all levels of experience – no matter what level you have! As a beginner, you will learn your first aerial exercises and movements with Sonny Crowden and Thomas Boticelli. If you already have aerial experience, you can pick up valuable tips from the professionals in this workshop and improve your skills.
Sonny Crowden
Sonny specialized in aerial hoop at the Flic Scuola Di Circo Turin in Italy and continued his circus training at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque in Châlons-en-Champagne. Sonny played in the farewell performance “Parce qu’on a toustes besoin d’un peu d’espoir”, which was staged by Compagnie Cabas with Sophia Perez.
Thomas Botticelli
After studying trapeze dance for a year at the ACAPA in Tillburg (Netherlands), Thomas continued his studies at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque in Châlons-en-Champagne and developed a practice based on the dance composition of trapeze body shapes. He performs in the farewell show “Parce qu’on a toustes besoin d’un peu d’espoir” (Because we all need a little hope), in which he mixes drag and clown work.
