In a playful and sweat-inducing way, we strengthen body and mind, become supple and flexible, learn and refine acrobatic skills and bring them into flow, dancing together through all levels of space – sometimes as a duet, sometimes as a group animal.
Course content and objectives

Clothing: Comfortable sportswear. In the winter months we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course.
Naomi Meyer
Naomi is a movement enthusiast for life and loves to share this passion as a trainer. She has always been fascinated by the diversity of the human body. After graduating from high school, she began studying sports science at the University of Basel and later developed into a professional circus artist. Before Naomi dedicated herself fully to her circus training, she performed in the Christmas variety show Mugg and toured with Circus Chnopf in 2019. After a year of intensive circus training in Portugal, Naomi continued her training at the renowned circus school “École Nationale de Cirque” in Montréal.
Naomi loves lifelong learning. In addition to her work as a trainer, she is currently training part-time as a physiotherapist.
Luisa Schmitz
Luisa Schmitz was born in Zurich and works as a dancer, choreographer, coach and dance teacher. She completed her bachelor’s degree in stage dance and choreography at the Fontys Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg (NL). For the last two years, she has been on the road with the Chnopf circus as an artist and has been teaching circus and movement to children and young people ever since. She teaches children the art of circus in an encouraging and motivating way. When she’s not teaching, she tours Europe with her own clown duo or walks her dog through the forests of Zurich.
General information
- Online booking open from January 27 at 10 am.
- Course information: The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays) and lasts 90 minutes.
- Start of the course: February 24 (from the end of the 2025 sports vacations)
- Course duration: 17 lessons until July 7 (until the start of summer vacation 2025)
- Kursfreie Daten Montag:
- April 21 & 28 (spring break)
- June 9 (Pentecost)
- Entry: It is always possible to join the course during the current session if there is free space. Just book online.
- New bookers: The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20, after which a final decision can be made on the booking. Registration or de-registration for the whole session must be confirmed by email within three days of the trial lesson. (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) The course is then considered booked.
- Trial lesson: See the point on new visitors.
- Individual lessons cannot be booked, only the whole session from the start date. The invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
- Discounts: LEGI & KULTURLEGI. We also accept LEGI and KULTURLEGI from parents for children’s courses. We give a 5 franc discount per lesson on the second course booked.
