Training, exchange and rehearsals
The Zirkusquartier offers various regular training opportunities.
Open training takes place twice a week, where professionals and amateurs train together.
For professional circus artists, professional training takes place daily from Monday to Friday. The infrastructure can be rented for rehearsals at favorable conditions – according to your needs.
Professional training
As a circus performer, you have the opportunity to train and use the infrastructure at Zirkusquartier on a regular basis. To do this, you need to register once by email for professional training and receive an introduction to the premises and the house rules. After that, you can train independently at Zirkusquartier at the given pro training times and at a reasonable rate.
Register by email for a one-time introduction before your first training session.

Different training times:
The Zirkusquartier will be closed from December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
The professional training also takes place during school vacations and on official holidays – if the training times change exceptionally, we will inform you here or in the professional chat. There will be no professional training during our company vacations over Christmas and New Year. Company vacations are from: 22.12.2025 – 04.01.2025.

Open training
Our open training takes place every Monday and Thursday: For amateurs and professionals aged 18 and over.
The focus is on exchanging ideas and enjoying training together. Whether you are a local artist or just passing through: come by!

Open training is suspended during school vacations and official holidays.

Rehearsing, trying out, performing
The Zirkusquartier would like to make its infrastructure available to as many circus professionals as possible.
There are four different indoor spaces and an outdoor space that can be used. The bar is operated by Zirkusquartier during shows, festivals and events.
