Training, exchange and rehearsals
The Zirkusquartier offers various regular training opportunities.
Open training takes place twice a week, where professionals and amateurs train together.
For professional circus artists, professional training takes place daily from Monday to Friday. The infrastructure can be rented for rehearsals at favorable conditions – according to your needs.
Professional training
As a circus performer, you have the opportunity to train and use the infrastructure at Zirkusquartier on a regular basis. To do this, you need to register once by email for professional training and receive an introduction to the premises and the house rules. After that, you can train independently at Zirkusquartier at the given pro training times and at a reasonable rate.
Register by email for a one-time introduction before your first training session.

Professional training during the fall break:
Monday, October 6 through Friday, October 10, 5:30–9:00 p.m. in the training hall
Monday, October 13 – no training!
Tuesday, October 14 to Friday, October 17, 12.00 – 15.30
in the event hall (there are 2 suspension points with pulley system)
Important information: Final rehearsals are taking place next door in the training hall, please make arrangements and show consideration when using music.
Professional training also takes place during the school vacations and on official public holidays – if the training times change exceptionally, we will inform you here or in the professional chat. During our company vacations over Christmas and New Year there will be no professional training. Company vacations are from: 22.12.2025 – 04.01.2025.

Open training
Our open training takes place every Monday and Thursday: For amateurs and professionals aged 18 and over.
The focus is on exchanging ideas and enjoying training together. Whether you are a local artist or just passing through: come by!

Rehearsing, trying out, performing
The Zirkusquartier would like to make its infrastructure available to as many circus professionals as possible.
There are four different indoor spaces and an outdoor space that can be used. The bar is operated by Zirkusquartier during shows, festivals and events.
