Work in Progress: Juntos
JUNTOS means together; it is a show that speaks about the vision of community in this individualized world. JUNTOS from the beginning, JUNTOS for progress, JUNTOS for success and failure: 3 bodies, 1 wooden board, throwing knives and a Chinese pole combine to form a unit.
Los Babuinos combine dance, physical theater and street theater with contemporary circus. Their aim is to create a positive atmosphere together with the audience, because JUNTOS means “together”. We are all creators and of course we all love to celebrate.
Los Babuinos
Los Babuinos is a multidisciplinary ensemble founded in 2016 out of the need to combine different forms of expression in the performing arts and to find a new form through constant experimentation.
Los Babuinos are three South American artists living in Switzerland with many years of artistic experience; their artistic research is accompanied by diversity, poetry, humor and creativity. They question and explore their connection to nature, the environment and their Latin American folk traditions. In addition to their work on stage, they also work as teachers in various circus schools in Switzerland.
