Past dates:

Here we open the door to the imaginative world of the circus – for children, young people and adults alike. Whether as a family, in a duo or alone: here you can try out new things, move, laugh and slip into creative roles.
In a relaxed atmosphere, we playfully explore various circus elements in the open air. The trainers will accompany you and will be happy to give you a little input. You can try things out, be amazed, challenge yourself – but above all: have fun. Without any previous knowledge, without any pressure. Come and go as it suits you. Everyone gets involved as they feel comfortable – whether curious and reserved or courageous and full of energy.
The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to experience circus first-hand – with open eyes, an open heart and a body that loves to move. Young and old get to know themselves better and build up their self-confidence – an ideal basis for all other movement arts!
This workshop is part of the ZirQus 2025 festival. You can find all information about the festival here.
Trainers

Luisa Schmitz
Luisa Schmitz was born in Zurich and works as a dancer, choreographer, coach and dance teacher. She completed her bachelor’s degree in stage dance and choreography at the Fontys Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg (NL). For the last two years, she has been on the road with the Chnopf circus as an artist and has been teaching circus and movement to children and young people ever since. She teaches children the art of circus in an encouraging and motivating way. When she’s not teaching, she tours Europe with her own clown duo or walks her dog through the forests of Zurich.

Aniko Serfözö
Aniko was born into a family of artists. Her decision to become a circus artist was motivated by her first visit to Circus Conelli in her early childhood. With ambition and discipline, she followed her path through the children’s circus and the art and sports school to the Berlin State Artists’ School. Since graduating in 2009, she has successfully established herself as a multidisciplinary circus artist. In between engagements, she has taught a variety of youngsters and adults in different circus disciplines and can therefore look back on 16 years of teaching experience.
