Zirkuszwergli (2.5-4 years)

Together we want to play, explore the fairytale world of the circus, let off steam and transform ourselves into animals, learn tricks and above all: have lots of fun!

You’ll need comfortable clothes that you can move around in and a water bottle. You should also have your mom and/or dad with you, as they will be taking part. They may simply accompany you during the lessons or lend a hand to the course leader if help is needed at a course post.

Clothing: Comfortable sportswear. Turntäppeli or barefoot. In the winter months we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course. Children with long hair should have a hair tie with them.

Luisa Schmitz

Luisa Schmitz was born in Zurich and works as a dancer, choreographer, coach and dance teacher. She completed her bachelor’s degree in stage dance and choreography at the Fontys Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg (NL). For the last two years, she has been on the road with the Chnopf circus as an artist and has been teaching circus and movement to children and young people ever since. She teaches children the art of circus in an encouraging and motivating way. When she’s not teaching, she tours Europe with her own clown duo or walks her dog through the forests of Zurich.

• COURSE INFO:
  • The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays) Course duration: 45 minutesStart: August 18, 25 (from the end of school summer vacations 2025)
  • End: February 2, 26 (until the start of the 2026 school sports vacations), 19 lessons in total
• SCHNUPPERSTUNDE: 
  • Bitte online Einbuchen. 
  • Die erste Stunde ab Buchungsdatum ist immer eine Schnupperstunde und kostet CHF 20. 
  • Danach kann definitiv über die Buchung entschieden werden. 
  • Die An- oder Abmeldung für die ganze Kurs-Session muss drei Tage nach besuchter Schnupperstunde per Mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) bei uns eintreffen. 
  • If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.

  • Simply book online, the first lesson is a trial lesson.
  • You will only be charged from the definitive start date after the trial lesson.
• EINZELSTUNDEN 
  • Individual lessons cannot be booked.
  • However, it is possible to join at any time during the session if capacity is available. See above.
