Conditions of participation

Online booking open from January 26 at 10 am.

Together we want to play, explore the fairytale world of the circus, let off steam and transform ourselves into animals, learn tricks and above all: have lots of fun! You’ll need comfortable clothes that you can move around in and a water bottle. You should also have your mom and/or dad with you, as they will be taking part. They may simply accompany you during the lessons or lend a hand to the course leader if help is needed at a course post.

Clothing: Comfortable sportswear. Turntäppeli or barefoot. In the winter months, we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course. Children with long hair should have a hair tie with them.

Aniko Serfözö

Aniko was born into a family of artists. Her decision to become a circus artist was motivated by her first visit to Circus Conelli in her early childhood. With ambition and discipline, she followed her path through the children’s circus and the art and sports school to the Berlin State Artists’ School. Since graduating in 2009, she has successfully established herself as a multidisciplinary circus artist. In between engagements, she has taught a variety of youngsters and adults in different circus disciplines and can therefore look back on 16 years of teaching experience.

Elena Weber

Elena has been teaching children of different age groups at the Marotte circus school since 2021, especially in the aerial silk discipline. Before she became part of the Marotte team, she practically grew up there: Elena was already doing gymnastics in the circus world of Marotte from the 1st grade.

Alongside her circus work, she works as a nanny for a family with two children and is studying law at the University of Zurich. Alternating between her studies and the physically creative work in the circus is a great balance for Elena. Seeing the sparkle in the children’s eyes always brings her joy and reminds her of her own circus-influenced childhood and teenagers.

Aniko Serfözö will lead the course until the end of May, from June Elena Weber will take over.

Individual lessons cannot be booked. Entry during the current session is possible at any time if capacity is available. The price will be adjusted accordingly.

Course information:

General

  • The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays)
  • Course duration: 45 minutes
  • Start: February 25 (from the end of the 2026 sports vacations)
  • End: July 8 (until the start of summer vacation 2026), 18 lessons in total

Trial lessons

  • Please book online.
  • The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20.
  • A final decision on the booking can then be made: The registration or deregistration for the entire course session must reach us by e-mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) three days after the trial lesson.
  • If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.

Access

  • It is always possible to join the course during the current session if capacity is available.
  • Simply book online, the first lesson is a trial lesson.
  • You will only be charged from the definitive start date after the trial lesson.
