With a lot of creativity, technique, fun and safety, dancing is learned at height. After an extensive warm-up to get your whole body strong and flexible, we move on to the aerial silk. Various types of climbing, static figures and small drops are practiced. At the same time, strength and flexibility are increased.
Prerequisites are independent climbing, experience with knots and good strength.
Clothing: Cotton leggings, short and long sleeve shirt. In the winter months we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course.
Eva Baggenstos
Eva Baggenstos from Zurich discovered her passion for aerial acrobatics in 2010. Since then, she has attended various intensive courses, circus festivals and workshops in Switzerland and abroad to continuously develop her skills.
She has performed in various theater productions (e.g. Stein! Spektakel, Baden; Deep Emotions Happiness, Bern) and street festivals (e.g. Gauklerfestival Adelboden, Badenfahrt 2017) and presented her performances at various other events (corporate events, parties, trade fairs).
Eva particularly enjoys passing on her knowledge and skills to others. She has been teaching beginners and advanced aerial hoops and aerial silks since 2012.
General information:
Course information
- The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays)
- Course duration: 69 minutes
- Start: August 20, 25 (from the end of the 2025 school summer vacation)
- End: February 4, 26 (until the start of the 2026 school sports vacations), 20 lessons in total
Trial lessons:
- Please book online.
- The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20.
- A final decision on the booking can then be made: The registration or deregistration for the entire course session must reach us by e-mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) three days after the trial lesson.
- If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.

- We offer a 5 franc discount per lesson on the second course booked.
Access:
- It is always possible to join the course during the current session if capacity is available.
- Simply book online, the first lesson is a trial lesson.
- You will only be charged from the definitive start date after the trial lesson.
Individual lessons
- Individual lessons cannot be booked.
- However, it is possible to join at any time during the session if capacity is available. See above.

- Zirkusquartier is a member of Versa, the association for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children in sport.
