This course is aimed at teenagers aged 11-14 and is the follow-up course to the “Circus acro for children” course. It is not necessary to attend the preliminary course to participate.
We discover and expand the possibilities of our body and train dexterity, body tension, flexibility and strength. As a result, we progress to increasingly complex movements and refine our technique: we practice different wheel variations, improve our floor walks, train handstands, expand our repertoire of partner acrobatic figures and also try our hand at aerial silks or on the trampoline. Together, but also in smaller groups, we deepen our work on the various circus disciplines.
The desire to exercise with other teenagers, to improve through regular training and to try out new things is paramount.
Clothing: Comfortable sportswear. Turntäppeli or barefoot. In the winter months, we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course. Teenagers with long hair should have a hair tie with them.
Naomi Meyer
Naomi is a movement enthusiast for life and loves to share this passion as a trainer. She has always been fascinated by the diversity of the human body. After graduating from high school, she began studying sports science at the University of Basel and later developed into a professional circus artist. Before Naomi devoted herself fully to her circus training, she performed in the
Naomi loves lifelong learning. In addition to her work as a trainer, she is currently training part-time as a physiotherapist.

Course information:
General
- The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays)
- Course duration: 75 minutes
- Start: August 20, 25 (from the end of the 2025 school summer vacation)
- End: February 4, 26 (until the start of the 2026 school sports vacations), 20 lessons in total
Trial lessons
- Please book online.
- The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20.
- A final decision on the booking can then be made: The registration or deregistration for the entire course session must reach us by e-mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) three days after the trial lesson.
- If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.
Access
- It is always possible to join the course during the current session if capacity is available.
- Simply book online, the first lesson is a trial lesson.
- You will only be charged from the definitive start date after the trial lesson.
