Knowing you can do it, but not knowing where to start… Self-conquest is deeply associated with the circus – and yet we often find it difficult to understand what is holding us back. Whether it’s a daring jump, an improvisation or an important decision.

Together with artist Nina Pigné and Jura artist Jean Charmillot, the young artists of the eleventh edition of LABO’Cirque explore this suspended moment – just before you jump. That moment when excitement and fear mix, when everything is called into question, but you still find the courage to take the first step.

An immersion in emotions and self-conquest – beyond the circus – to show what ultimately makes us dare.

LABO’Cirque is a research and creation project in the field of circus arts for future artists from all over Switzerland. The young artists share the results of their research with the audience on stage.

LABO’Cirque

LABO’Cirque is a unique space where circus passion and artistic creativity come together to give young female artists a professional experience as part of their training. Since its foundation in 2013, LABO’Cirque has established itself as a talent factory for young female artists in Switzerland and contributes significantly to their professional development and personal fulfillment.

Through a carefully designed program, participants have the opportunity to work with professional artists, test their ideas and define their own artistic identity.
