Parole en l’air<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

What would it be like if we were on first-name terms with strangers? What would it be like to eat the last cookie out of the packet? What would it be like to give orders to your superior? What if you wore a suit for sport? What if the boys wore long blonde wigs and mini lederhosen? What if you had nothing to say but did it anyway? <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The duo GingerMoustache explores the boundaries of what is acceptable. “Parole en l’air” is a profoundly lively show that manages without music or elaborate gimmicks: two people on stage playing with words, social codes and their humanity. Two fundamentally different personalities that unite wonderfully in the world of circus arts. The duo GingerMoustache not only offers an impressive technical performance, but is also characterized by the complicity and quality of interaction between its two members. Between two light-footed tirades, a deeper intention sometimes creeps in that goes beyond mere humor: under its witty, playful mask, Parole en l’air <\/em>implicitly positions itself as pro-ecological, feminist and encourages self-acceptance and acceptance of others. A committed performance that conveys messages without taking itself too seriously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calou Rais and Sophie Nusbaumer come from the Swiss Jura. They specialize in hand-on-hand acrobatics and jeux icariens<\/em> and form the duo GingerMoustache.They were introduced to the circus arts at the age of 5 and 7 at Circosph\u00e8re in Del\u00e9mont. Both artists continued their training at ACaPA in the Netherlands.After completing their bachelor’s degree in June 2021, they set about creating a duo show entitled “Parole en l’air”. After several work phases in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland, their premiere took place on September 2, 2022 at the Casino Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Rolle (as a co-production). In 2023, they took part in the 10th season of Midi Th\u00e9\u00e2tre in French-speaking Switzerland. In parallel, the duo will perform the premiere of the German version of “Parole en l’air” on November 5, 2023 at Station Circus in Basel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
