Circus trial workshop: Clowning around<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Do you like gymnastics, playing games, trying out acrobatic tricks and playing the clown until your diaphragm gives out? Discover the world of clowning with Elysia and Luisa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will learn how clowns stumble, how they rejoice, cry, laugh, dance … perhaps the clowns will try their hand at floor acrobatics, juggling, or they will perform animal acts. There are no limits to the imagination. Pure clown power, fantastic, surprising and hilarious. No registration required, just come along and join in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elysia Mc Mullen (IRE) and Luisa Schmitz (CH) met during their dance training at the FHK in Tilburg (NL), where they graduated with a BA in Dance and Choreography in 2016. After graduating, both pursued their own paths, choreographing their own works and collaborating with other companies in the dance and circus field. The duo reunited and founded their company Bill and Fred Productions<\/em> in 2020. Bill and Fred are an all-female clown duo who combine disciplines such as dance, clowning, circus and theater and have developed their own unique style of clowning. Using improvisation, they found a complex language of gestures and movements. Her work is based on this humorous language of movement, which focuses on the clownish expression of dance. In their abstract style, they take their audience on a journey of discovery and make them laugh. The duo brings a high degree of precision to their movements, which is the result of years of experience in improvisation, clowning and dance. Together they are breaking new artistic ground and taking professional dance and clowning to a new level. They have been touring internationally with their production “Adventures” since 2021. From 2022, they will go on tour with their second production “The Grannies”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
