Expectations are constantly with us: We are expected to follow rules, look good, work well and keep optimizing ourselves. This can be exhausting. The warm-up and the show GUGUS! are therefore about the other moments, the ones that don’t serve a purpose and are fun for that very reason.

Rebecca Weingartner, the choreographer of GUGUS!, invites you to 30 minutes of play, nonsense and movement before the performance. Together we will playfully immerse ourselves in the many different ways of expressing our own bodies, invent absurd movements and explore ways to counter stress and the pressure to perform. The best thing is when everyone joins in – children and adults alike. There are no age restrictions.

Come in your comfortable everyday clothes!

Workshop-leadership

Marc Doradzillo

Rebecca Weingartner

Rebecca Weingartner, known for her sensitive examination of social issues, also creates a space in GUGUS! where young and adult audiences are welcome to let go and join in.
