This Circ-Exchange <\/em>focuses on two central aspects of injury prevention. On the one hand, circus artist and aspiring physiotherapist Naomi Meyer will provide insights into physical and mental training and performance preparation for injury prevention. She will also share practical resources for dealing with injuries.Kathrin Walde from artFAQ<\/a> will also shed light on what artists should look out for in contracts and insurance policies in order to be adequately covered in the event of an injury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both experts will give a thematic input, followed by in-depth discussions in small groups. Participants are invited to share their own experiences and exchange ideas with each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the Circ-Exchange<\/em>, there will be a small aperitif with snacks and drinks, as well as the opportunity to attend the performance Fragments<\/a> by La V\u00edspera<\/em> at 20:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katrin Walde<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kathrin Walde completed the CAS in Cultural Management at the Stapferhaus in Lenzburg<\/em> in 2014. Since then, she has been working as a freelance production manager for various performing arts companies in German-speaking Switzerland. In 2019, she co-founded the KulturHub <\/em>project with <\/em>Maxine Devaud, which\u2014since November 2019\u2014has been offering free <\/em>project consultations for cultural professionals both in person and online in co-production with ROXY Birsfelden <\/em>. Since January 2020, she has been teaching courses at Kulturmarkt Z\u00fcrich<\/em> and, since 2024, at the Accademia Dimitri in <\/em>Verscio. Since May 2024, she has been working part-time as co-director of artFAQ Z\u00fcrich <\/em>. She is a member of tpunkt<\/em> and Pro Cirque.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Naomi Meyer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naomi is a movement enthusiast for life. After a year studying sports science, she devoted herself fully to circus arts. Her circus training took her to Montreal to the \u00c9cole Nationale de Cirque<\/em> in Montr\u00e9al. Naomi loves lifelong learning and is currently studying physiotherapy part-time. She combines her experience as a circus performer and trainer with her expertise to promote sustainable training and injury prevention. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
