Theoretical know-how is combined with practical application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop will be held in German and English and will last two days 21. &amp; March 22, from 09:30 &#8211; 12:30 and 13:30 &#8211; 16:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this workshop, Annika Hemmerling, aerialist and circus artist, and Tomasz Bajsarowicz, experienced construction engineer and rigger at Cirque du Soleil, will focus on the safe use of rigging in aerial arts.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Theoretical and practical content:  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding the different effects of forces on the structure and the artist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The most important knots and material knowledge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to pulley blocks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Imparting knowledge to formulate a technical rider correctly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This makes it possible to communicate and ensure the rigging requirements and other technical needs to your venue in advance. The aim is to impart skills for the professional field of work. Participants will be able to work safely and effectively with rigging, which in addition to safety also opens up more opportunities for a greater variety of performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br\/>On April 12, there will be an advanced workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/zirkusquartier.ch\/en\/events\/rigging-2-0-extended-version\/?vorstellung=23295\">Rigging 2.0 &#8211; Advanced<\/a> on creative, performative and experimental applications of rigging techniques. After graduating in <em>Contemporary Circus Arts<\/em> at Codarts University, she worked internationally as a solo artist for various productions and founded her own company. With his technical expertise, he supervises rigging and production concepts for numerous circus companies and training venues in Europe, including <em>Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Bouffon, Cia Omkara<\/em> and <em>7 Woman Company<\/em>. He is currently working as a show rigger for the Cirque du Soleil production <em>ALIZE<\/em> in Berlin.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<section id=\"\" class=\"sectionblock  inverted-color\" >\n  <div class=\"section-inner\">\n    <div class=\"container-lg\">\n      \n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conditions of participation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration by link, e-mail or telephone is binding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The course fee must be paid by invoice, which you will receive from us by e-mail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If registration is withdrawn up to 10 days before the workshop, 50% of the course fee will be charged. In the event of later withdrawal, the full costs are to be borne by the participant. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The right to participate in the booked workshop is personal and non-transferable. Lessons not attended do not entitle the participant to a reduction in course fees, unless the workshop is explicitly advertised as modular.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. An emergency contact must be given when registering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If there are not enough participants, the workshop cannot usually take place.
