It plays with the metaphor of a juggling duo as a representation of human interaction. In &#8220;RU&#8221;, Bastien Alvarez (Compagnie Cie CABAC) deals with the experience of displacement at the interface of circus, song and text: a character goes about her daily life until an external force turns everything upside down. A performance that illustrates a reflection on human relationships through juggling. The rhythm and different juggling styles naturally suggest a series of sensitive connections. The underlying idea is that every relationship is based on a form of juggling &#8211; a fragile balance in which the smallest unexpected event can change everything.   <\/p>\n\n\n<details class=\"indy-block-accordion\">\n    \n<summary class=\"indy-block-accordion-header\">\n  \n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading indy-block-accordion-header-title\">Isaline &amp; Yu-yin<\/h5>\n\n\n<\/summary>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artists: Isaline Hugonnet and Yu-yin Lin<\/strong><br\/>The duo focuses on exploring the fusion of juggling objects as well as the need to be in pairs to juggle multiple combinations of balls, diabolos and the bodies of the two performers. Yu-yin and Isaline met in Finland in 2018 and joined the National Center for Circus Arts (CNAC) in 2020. The duo was formed during their training at CNAC. What remains of us when we leave our homeland, whether out of necessity or by choice? What ties to it remain despite the distance? How do we survive the turmoil, preserve the hope of a return and defend what is ours? There are no big acrobatic numbers here, but rather a sensitive exploration of movement in which every gesture counts. Originating from a restriction, the duo developed new, playful, flowing and intimate lifting figures. Calou Rais and Sophie Nusbaumer are originally from the Swiss Jura and specialize in hand-to-hand acrobatics and icarian games. Together they form the duo GingerMoustache. They discovered circus arts at the age of 5 and 7 at Circosph\u00e8re in Del\u00e9mont.
