Circus history archived in the body.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ageing is still a taboo in our society and even more so in the circus world. Similar to top athletes, most acrobats stop their intensive training at a certain age. How do &#8220;perfect bodies change?&#8221; Can a person ever make peace with their own body? Can you be completely in harmony? <em><em>Glorious Bodies<\/em><\/em> sheds light on the process of ageing in a unique way. A process that happens to all of us.     Something that is actually happening right now, at this very moment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roots of the performance lie in partner acrobatics and movement. <em><em>Glorious Bodies<\/em><\/em> dismantles the clich\u00e9s about the older generation. An impressive, charming and humorous performance that shows us what the human body is actually capable of. It develops and produces wordless circus and dance shows. Piet works as a choreographer together with circus artists. Each performance is made from\/for\/with\/in different <em>Circumstances<\/em>, thus creating site-specific theater performances in different circus disciplines, with children\/young people\/elderly people, for different target groups.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Circus is not about achieving something, but about challenging the impossible. The search for the limits of balance, gravity, time and endurance is a unique dance.&#8221; <\/em><br\/>&#8211; Piet Van Dycke  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For each production,<em> Circumstances <\/em>is made up of a diverse team of artists who each specialize in their own field. Encounter, exchange and dialog are among the core values of the creative process. The artistic team works together on the performance. Piet Van Dycke initiates, coordinates and choreographs the movement material.
