Open Call: PrinzAsses wanted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anna Lisa Grebe is looking for new and old members of the PrinzAsses choir for the physical theater performance SHOOTING SNOW WHITE<\/a>. Join the choir on stage in SHOOTING SNOW WHITE: on Friday, September 05 at 10 pm at the Festival ZirQus in the Zirkusquartier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prepare for participation in the PrinzAss choir, there is a 2-hour physical theater & puppetry workshop on Wednesday evenings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop we explore unknown places of our body that are often perceived as shameful. Through movement, imagination and illusion, we create a playful puppet character to question truth and perception. How does it walk, how does it talk, how does it move, how does it breathe, how does it perceive the world? Can this influence our reality? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this approach, we move as a group, in pairs and as individuals, retelling outdated fairy tales and finding deeper meanings. There are improvisations at the beginning and a small group choreography that forms the chorus of the PrinzAsses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All genders are welcome. Nudity is optional. Bring comfortable clothes, underwear you like and your curiosity & gender fluidity! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look forward to getting to know your PrinzAss character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A physical theater performance and a f*cking modern fairytale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 60-minute one-woman solo performance SHOOTING SNOW WHITE, Anna Lisa Grebe embodies various characters from the fairy tale “Snow White” and related stereotypes, behaviors and clich\u00e9s. Through exaggeration, she radically shows the absurdity of a patriarchal system in which we still live. With soul, heart and her mental and physical nakedness, she represents women through the decades. The audience witnesses a journey between beauty and ugliness, sweetness and aggression. Always with a touch of humor on her lips. Enjoy the journey into the glass coffin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Lisa Grebe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Lisa Grebe is an actress, singer, mover and ginger. She studied acting in Vienna, musical theater in Leipzig and completed a master’s degree in physical theater at the Accademia Dimitri.Her interests include food, nature, feminism, handstand, chaos and the playful body. Her work has taken her all over Europe, where she has collaborated with artists such as Florentina Holzinger and Teresa Vitucci, Raoul (Nene) Vargas and Elisa Bruder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
