In their Caribbean song cocktail, the musicians of the Rich Man’s Kitchen Orchestra skillfully mix pearls from the golden age of calypso with the swing of the time and the blues of the Mississippi Delta at an extremely danceable tempo and conjure up a musical circus ring from a lonely stage. They have already demonstrated their versatility at the Karls K\u00fchne Gassenschau, the Cosimc Animal Microfestival, Stadtheater Bern and the Halt auf Verlangen Festival, among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second time, the Zirkusquartier is cooperating with the Galotti Musikwerkstatt<\/a> during the ZirQus festival. Our neighbors present the Rich Man’s Kitchen Orchestra<\/a> as part of the Hard Music Week. With tuba, trumpets, clarinet, banjo and drums on board, the orchestra plays tempo-driven calypso and hokum blues. With full brass power, the 8-piece band steers the Musikwoche Hard and the festival Saturday into a danceable finale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
