A ROOMA BAG FULL OF WOOD CHIPSAN AUDIENCEA ROLLING AND TILTING STEEL CONSTRUCTIONTHREE PLAYINGROPE-NETWORKING, WHICH TURNS THE ORDER UPSIDE DOWN<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UMKIPPEN project arose from the desire to create a contemporary circus piece based on space. The space consists of a mobile, tiltable steel construction and a bag that holds 200 kg of wood chips, as well as several suspension points and pulleys that allow objects to be hung at different heights and create connections. Three performers interact with each other and with these objects. The audience is an integral factor in the various interactions. This leads to a chain reaction of effects that produce solutions and at the same time create new complications. Problems become solutions and solutions become problems. A new balance must be sought. The aim is to achieve a dynamic equilibrium, i.e. the ability to maintain equilibrium while switching between different positions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Heavy Weight Pieces collective<\/em> consists of Alice J\u00f6rg, Max Gnant, Prisca Grandi, Nik Huber, Camille Hafner, Luisa Schmitz and Samuel M\u00e4sserli. Based on a spatial concept, they experiment with various objects and movement in space. Heavy Weight Pieces<\/em> deals with social issues and aims to facilitate refreshing thought processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
