A large metal wheel and a person. A game of movement and balance that tells of two needs: To be in relationship and to remain free at the same time. The artist playfully searches outside and inside her bubble with her voice and body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bubbles. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and textures. A cell nucleus surrounded by its cell envelope. An embryo floating in its amniotic sac. Mmmm…I taste… And there’s a liquid, with countless shiny air bubbles, produced by my salivary gland… I think of the air bubbles in chocolate mousse. To the blister on my heels from the new shoe. My head, is it in a bubble or is it THE bubble?Ah yes, and of course this bubble next to me, with its hard surface. Is it hard because it is impenetrable? Or is it hard because it’s a dead bubble? And if it’s a dead bubble, it’s not a living bubble. And if it is not alive, then it does not respond. And if it doesn’t answer, yes then it doesn’t answer, despite my waiting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I put on the pants and dare to enter this hard bubble. To make it my own. But in this hard bubble, a thought comes to me. How many small, thin bubbles could I burst, because I neither see nor feel them? And this thought weighs heavy on my chest. And I start to seriously worry about the small bubbles. I want to take care of the small bubbles. I want to take care of myself and get rid of the worries. But how do I get out of this hard bubble that I have just been appropriating? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simona Lea Huber grew up in the Zurich Oberland and completed vocational training as a landscape gardener, a profession in which she worked for several years. After an isolated summer on a goat pasture in the Alps, she turned to dance and circus. She studied at the Vertigo circus school in Turin and completed her three-year course at the Esacto Lido college in Toulouse last summer. Since then, she has founded the association together with friends: Collectif La Mif and has devoted herself to her first solo “Angsthas oder Kampfhas” (provisional title), as well as the duo with Barbara Ford “Bleu et Rouge”. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
