Cirque Intense<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

At the end of their first year at the Cirque Intense Preparatory School in Neuenburg am Rhein, students develop their own contemporary circus program in collaboration with a professional team of artists. Their own ideas and content are combined with creative circus artistry, dance choreography and theater to create ever new and exciting performances. In summer 2025, the current group will be showing their program in Germany, Italy and Switzerland – including at Zirkusquartier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DUE PUNTI: The space in between<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

As human beings, we are at different points in life. Our points of view define the space between us. We can change them and move between them. But who, what or where are these points? What happens in the space between them? What does it mean to orient yourself as a human being and find your own point of view, or simply to be in-between and undecided? What challenges and opportunities are associated with this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the rehearsals, the artists explored these personal and collective questions. Using the means of contemporary circus, they have created a multi-layered piece with artistry, live music, dance and clowning; an invitation to experience together how diverse the space in between is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this production, the experienced director Ursula Hildebrand from Lucerne has been drawn in as co-director together with Robert Eisele. Tilo Wachter is responsible for the music and Karolin St\u00e4chele, head of the Fribourg dance training program TIP, for the dance choreography. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a full-time circus school, Cirque Intense offers a professional orientation year for contemporary circus and a preparatory year for the entrance exams to circus universities. The production of a circus theater piece followed by a tour is part of the curriculum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cirque Intense is a recognized member of the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC) and offers a wide range of training in dance (Karolin St\u00e4chele), physical theatre (Ursula Hildebrand), music (Tilo Wachter), core and stretch (Nadiia Marchenko) and tent and event technology in addition to circus training (Robert Eisele, Isabelle Noel). Special workshops in cyr-wheel (David Eisele, Fenja Barteldres) or spinning board complete the intensive circus year. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
