It could be 1943. But very glamorous. Women were called upon to contribute to the war effort by stepping into the shoes of men who had left to fight. They filled essential jobs, such as farming, building machinery in factories and putting together weapons that would help win the war. The poster of Rosie, (a woman in a blue worksuit with a red bandana around her head, showing her biceps), was a rallying figure and her poster served to call on women to take up these roles.When the war was won and the soldiers came home, most women had to leave these jobs. But It showed that Rosie was mighty good at her job, and that she\u2019s a force to be reckoned with\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anna Kapp is a circus artist from Switzerland, born in Geneva. She specialises in Chinese pole,which she fell in love with in 2017. Alongside Chinese pole, she also dazzles her audiences withburlesque, pole dance and hula hoop. Anna has featured in large group productions, cocreatedcircus shows, and shines solo in cabarets, sexy circus shows, spicy parties and nightclubs! Anna is delicate, cheeky and strong. Her sleek circus skills combined with her vulnerable anddaring stage persona captivate an audience. Whether it\u2019s whirling upside down on a pole 6meters high, or spinning a hula hoop on one foot, she loves to keep an audience on the edge oftheir seats! She\u2019s performed internationally on big stages such as the Teatro Price in Madrid, The PiccoloTent and The Caves at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Schouwburg Concertzaal Tilburg inthe Netherlands.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
