We warm up together and, in addition to playful elements, emphasis is placed on the clean execution of acrobatic basics. This is followed by exercises to build up strength and flexibility, and we practise simple acrobatic figures. On the aerial silk, we learn the correct and safe technique of climbing, as well as simple forms and drops. The focus is on the joy of movement. <\/p>\n\n

Clothing: <\/strong>To prevent friction burns, we recommend tight-fitting, comfortable training clothing (bodysuit and leggings). In the winter months, we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course. Children with long hair should have a hair tie with them. <\/p>\n\n

Aniko was born into a family of artists. Her decision to become a circus artist was motivated by her first visit to Circus Conelli <\/g>in her early childhood. With ambition and discipline, she followed her path through the children’s circus and the art and sports school to the Berlin State Artists’ School<\/em>. Since graduating in 2009, she has successfully established herself as a multidisciplinary circus artist. In between engagements, she has taught a variety of youngsters and adults in different circus disciplines and can therefore look back on 16 years of teaching experience. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Elena has been teaching children of different age groups at the Marotte circus school since 2021, especially in the aerial silk discipline. Before she became part of the Marotte team, she practically grew up there: Elena was already doing gymnastics in the circus world of Marotte from the 1st grade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside her circus work, she works as a nanny for a family with two children and is studying law at the University of Zurich. Alternating between her studies and the physically creative work in the circus is a great balance for Elena. Seeing the sparkle in the children’s eyes always brings her joy and reminds her of her own circus-influenced childhood and teenagers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Aniko Serf\u00f6z\u00f6 will teach until the end of May and Elena Weber will take over the course from June.<\/p>\n\n

  • The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Course duration: 60 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Start: February 25 (from the end of the 2026 sports vacations) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • End: <\/strong>July 8 (until the start of summer vacation 2026), 18 lessons in total<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Trial lessons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A final decision on the booking can then be made: The registration or deregistration for the entire course session must reach us by e-mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) three days after the trial lesson. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
