This course is aimed at school children aged 6-8 years and is the follow-up course to the “Circus Starter” course. It is not necessary to attend the preliminary course to participate. <\/p>\n\n

We get off to a playful start and develop strength, coordination and agility in an age-appropriate way. We consolidate the basic acrobatic figures on the floor – rolls, wheels, headstands, handstands, pyramids. From time to time, we also try jumping on the trampoline and swinging in the air on the aerial silk. <\/p>\n\n

The joy of movement and creativity in doing things together are just as important as the precise teaching of the basics. The children refine their self-awareness and strengthen their self-confidence: the best preparation for any further art of movement! <\/p>\n\n

Clothing: <\/strong>Comfortable sportswear. Turnt\u00e4ppeli or barefoot. In the winter months, we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course. Children with long hair should have a hair tie with them. <\/p>\n\n

Julian has been a big circus fan since his childhood, when he attended vacation courses at the Scuola Dimitri<\/em>, and has taught himself many tricks in various disciplines. He did judo as a child, later climbed in an SAC youth section and then ended up breakdancing via capoeira. Julian Bl\u00e4si originally trained as a care specialist at the Sydef\u00e4deli retirement home<\/em> and then worked at the Klus Park retirement center<\/em> for 5 years. As a community service volunteer, he worked in a cr\u00e8che, among other places. He gained experience with teenagers through various projects in social institutions and ended up in youth work, where he has worked for the last six years and set up a mobile circus program, among other things. Julian specializes in partner acrobatics and has taken part in many international training camps and festivals. After training as a community animator HF, he now works full-time as a circus educator. In recent years, he has already led circus courses, including at the Robinson children’s circus<\/em>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

  • The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Course duration: 60 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Start: August 21, 25 (from the end of the 2025 school summer vacation) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • End: February 5, 26 (until the start of the 2026 school sports vacations), 20 lessons in total<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Trial lessons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Please book online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The first lesson from the date of booking is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A final decision on the booking can then be made: The registration or deregistration for the entire course session must reach us by e-mail (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) three days after the trial lesson. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If you book and confirm the appointment, the trial lesson will be charged even if you do not attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
