Circ-Exchange x reboot

The first Circ-Exchange in 2025 invites professional circus artists to exchange best practices that transform workspaces into places of mutual support.

This workshop takes place in collaboration with reboot : an international collaborative project that aims to understand circus arts as a possible site of transformation. Circus and physical theatre practitioners are invited to share tools, ideas and best practices, discuss their concerns together and thus transform workspaces into places of emancipation and mutual support.
How do we define “collective”, what is a “safe space”? How do we take care of ourselves and others in our work? What practical tools can we develop to promote respectful exchange? Under the guidance of the reboot project team, best practices and working methods will be analyzed, discussed and solutions developed.

After an intensive exchange, we will bring the Circ-Exchange to a close with a cozy aperitif.

Circ-Exchange Format

Three Circ-Exchange formats take place every year, offering professional physical theater and circus artists the opportunity to exchange ideas on hot topics, network and share knowledge. Get in touch here for suggestions, feedback and proposed topics for Circ-Exchange.

reboot

reboot is an international cooperation project between the Swiss company Courant d’Cirque and the French Compagnie d’Elles, supported by Movetia and ProHelvetia.
It is about sharing knowledge and best practices with the aim of understanding circus arts as a possible place of transformation. Around the two companies, a dozen associated partners are actively involved in the project.
All these players in the circus world are joining forces to develop benevolent and inclusive practices to revolutionize the aesthetics of tomorrow.
