Partner acrobatics
Mit Julian Bläsi
From 14 years
For beginners
(3 places left)
Do you always see people in the park balancing on each other’s feet and doing other beautiful figures while having lots of fun holding and balancing each other in the air? Would you like to try it out but don’t know how to start? Then you’ve come to the right place.
In this course, we take a playful approach to learning the basics of partner acrobatics – perhaps better known to you as AcroYoga. We will learn figures lying down and standing and try to put them together in sequences. You will be able to practise in all positions: As a base, as a flyer and, very importantly, as a support. Because this also needs to be learned and provides a safe framework so that we can engage with each other and the challenges with fun and trust.
In the course, we also playfully approach headstands and handstands step by step so that we can also practise figures in partner acrobatics where you feel comfortable and safe upside down. It is important to me to give you a clean technique so that you can build on this later to master more difficult figures and tricks.
No previous knowledge is required for this course.
Just bring a desire to try things out and a love of playing.
You don’t have to register together with another person, we will swap positions and players in the course anyway
Clothing: Comfortable sportswear. In the winter months we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course.
Julian Bläsi
Julian has been a big circus fan since his childhood, when he attended vacation courses at the Scuola Dimitri, and has taught himself many tricks in various disciplines. He did judo as a child, later climbed in an SAC youth section and then ended up breakdancing via capoeira. Julian Bläsi originally trained as a care specialist at the Sydefädeli retirement home and then worked at the Klus Park retirement center for five years. As a community service volunteer, he worked in a crèche, among other places. He gained experience with young people in various projects at social institutions and ended up in youth work, where he has worked for the last six years, including setting up a mobile circus program. Over the past six years, he has mainly specialized in partner acrobatics and has taken part in many international training camps and festivals. In the summer, he will complete his training as a community animator HF and then work full-time as a circus educator. In recent years, he has already led courses at the Robinson children’s circus, among others.
