Aerial Mix

With lots of creativity, technique, fun and safety, we learn the basics of aerial acrobatics on the aerial silks and aerial ring. After an extensive warm-up to get your whole body strong and flexible, we learn the classic climbing techniques as well as simple figures that are later combined into small sequences. Over time, more challenging figures, longer sequences, rolls and even small drops are learned.

Clothing: Cotton leggings, short and long sleeve shirt. In the winter months we recommend long training clothes for before and after the course.

Caro Wuttke

Even as a child, Caro wanted to be a tightrope walker and popcorn seller in the circus. She only rediscovered her love of the circus in a roundabout way as an adult. During her cultural studies, she slipped into the circus world and began to train intensively. She then trained as a contemporary circus artist at the “Cirko Vertigo” and “Flic” circus schools in Italy. Caro now lives in Zurich and works as a freelance artist and aerial arts trainer. Caro loves to share her technical knowledge as well as her enthusiasm and motivation in the classroom.

Eva Baggenstos

Eva Baggenstos from Zurich discovered her passion for aerial acrobatics in 2010. Since then, she has attended various intensive courses, circus festivals and workshops in Switzerland and abroad to continuously develop her skills.
She has performed in various theater productions (e.g. Stein! Spektakel, Baden; Deep Emotions Happiness, Bern) and street festivals (e.g. Gauklerfestival Adelboden, Badenfahrt 2017) and presented her performances at various other events (corporate events, parties, trade fairs).
Eva particularly enjoys passing on her knowledge and skills to others. She has been teaching beginners and advanced aerial ring and vertical dance since 2012.

General information

• Online booking open from July 1, 2024 10 a.m.
• Course information: The course takes place once a week (except during school vacations and public holidays) and lasts 75 minutes.
• Start of the course: August 20 (from the end of the 2024 school summer vacation)
• Course duration: 20 lessons until February 4 (until the start of the 2025 sports vacations)
• Course-free dates Tuesday: 3.9. (festival week at the Zirkusquartier) / 8.10. & 15.10. (fall vacation) / 24.12. & 31.12. (Christmas vacation)
• Entry: It is always possible to join the course during the current session if there is free capacity. Just book online.
• First time bookings: The first From the booking date, the first lesson is always a trial lesson and costs CHF 20. Then you can make a decision about continuation. Registration or de-registration for the whole session must be confirmed by email within three days of the trial lesson. (kontakt@zirkusquartier.ch) After that, the course is booked.
• Trial lesson: See new visitors section.
• Individual lessons cannot be booked, only the whole session from the start date. The invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
• Discounts: LEGI & KULTURLEGI. For children’s courses, we also accept LEGI and KULTURLEGI from parents. We give a 5 franc discount per lesson on the second course booked.
